For those who have limited to no medical training and want to learn First Aid skills and/or need a First Aid course completion card, the Heartsaver First Aid class is also available. This course is designed to equips every community members with the necessary critical skills to respond to and manage an emergency in the first critical minutes before emergency medical services (EMS) arrive. Students learn a variety of skills such as treating bleeds, sprains, broken bones, shock, and other first-aid emergencies. We recommend these courses for teachers, day care personnel, nannies, live guards and simply for everyone who wants to be able potentially save one's life.
